Ayasa is one of the most established handpan manufacturers worldwide – founded by Ralf van den Bor and based in the Netherlands. The name "Ayasa" comes from Sanskrit and means "iron." Since 2013, Ralf has devoted himself to building the finest handpans, distinguished by their warm, clear sound and exceptional playability.

From 2015 onwards, the musician Marius Farcas became a formative companion and has played an important role in Ayasa's sonic development and musical direction ever since. Ralf is supported by his twin brother Roy, who returned to the workshop after years of traveling, and by Rick, a long-time friend and all-rounder on the team.
